God’s grace in the Navigator Calling

The Navigator calling is to advance the gospel of Christ & his kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living & discipling among the lost. I thank God for the opportunity to be able to attend the Navigator National Training Program 2022 where we were reminded of our calling and the goal that we have of raising laborers (disciple-makers) and new believers which is the great commission – Math 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples… It is good that we do bible studies every Tuesday and Hangouts every Friday but if we don’t have emergence of new believers or laborers then we have not achieved our goal in ministry. For the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few – Math 9:37

Looking back we thank God for the grace of working in his vineyard & being a part of what He is doing in the lives of students in Machakos. We have had new students coming to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Others have experienced transformation in their lives where they start living intentionally as Christians – reading their bible daily, memorizing scripture & being careful to obey what the Bible says. This was especially evident after we held our annual Machakos Camp Connect that had close to 40 students for 4 days and focused on the basics of our Christian faith – Word, Fellowship, Witnessing & Prayer. We thank God that the camp was able to happen & the transformation we witnessed in our students.

During Camp Connect – a Navigator Machakos Ministry Camp that took place in July at YWAM – Athi River

We have also experienced God in seeing students who were in our Bible study become laborers – co-workers with Christ. One of the students who was in our high school bible study in Katoloni secondary after finishing secondary education in 2018 is now a part of the team going to lead bible study in the same school. Four ladies who were part of our student lead team at Machakos Uni, one of who was discipled by Nas, after graduating joined STEM – Short Term Experience in Ministry with the Navigators. Another graduate was able to start a ministry reaching out to high school graduates in her local church back at home.

After a Sunday Bible Study at Katoloni Secondary with Syokau who was a former student at the school & Shiku who was in our University Bible study, now a stem staff with the Navigators

We realize that God continues to use us not because we are better or more competent but because of his grace, his undeserved favor. We thank God for you. Your partnership in both life & ministry has enabled us to continue being a blessing to students. Thank you so much.

It would be our joy that God enables you to continue supporting us financially through the Navigators using mpesa paybill; business number; 880114 account name; Mark Mwaniki. Or by clicking DONATE if you are in the USA

Pray with us as we continue trusting God to see more new believers and new laborers in the ministry we are involved in. We also pray for students who were in our Bible study and graduated, that they will allow God to use them to make disciples wherever they go. We pray for God’s wisdom to know how to continue encouraging them. We are also expecting new 1st years joining Uni this month & we trust God to reach out to them.

To know Christ, make Him Known & help others do the same,

Markus, Nas & Sianoi
